2002 Dudley Step Show - An early Equinox Production

This pic is about 8 years old. Its the 2002 Dudley Step Show in the gym at Dudley High School. Pictured from left to right is Matt, Derrick, and Brad. I'm no sure who that was leaning on the wall in the back. We've come so far from this. Its hard to believe we were using two desktop cpu's with crt moniters, and everything. We had an old mixer pictured above, that had five channels, only three of them worked. We didn't charge but $500, but there ended up being almost 2,000 people there. I wish we could do something like this again sometime soon. It would be alot easier now with the way technology has changed like it has. This is one of the first large gigs we had.

My first post will be about music. In particular music that inspires me. We'll start with one of my newer faves, The Black Keys. They just came out with a new album called, Brothers. Its one of those albums you can pop in and play all the way through without hitting pause, or stop. They are a duo from Ohio that have a DEEP south blues rock style. Its definitely a must purchase. Along with their collaboration with rap acts on their previous album put out under the name BlakRoc.
